Not everyone cannot be a Paralympic athlete. Those who try must receive coaching, work out, and train their bodies and minds if they want their dream to become a reality. The whole process takes lots of time, commitment, equipment, traveling and money. If I were a player in Europe—where table tennis is much more popular—I would probably have an association that pays for part, or all, of my coaching fees, playing equipment, plane tickets and travel expenses. But, since I live in a great country full of entrepreneurs, corporations who believe in the development of sport and very supportive individuals, I have no worries. If you are one of those types of people and would like to make a tax deductible donation through Wheelchair Sports USA, I would greatly appreciate it. Not only does it aid me in buying rackets, clothing for training, and shoes but also entry fees for tournaments in the plane tickets to get there. Donate today!
