I almost forgot about this!

One day, someone shot me a message and said they saw me in the UCSD Alumni Magazine…in print! When I did the interview, I didn’t even know people read the magazine that were from my generation — I just did it because I thought it would be fun. But, not only did people see it, they liked it! Game Master. Daryl Sterling Jr., Warren ’01, isn’t like most professional athletes. When he was eight years old, he lost a leg, following a car accident, and he never played sports growing up. Then in his 20s, he discovered his love of table tennis. And despite numerous challenges, Sterling has been a professional table tennis athlete since 2009, touring such countries as Romania, Italy and Argentina.
